Darlyn’s Story
One of our teachers recently sent us this comic strip that a student created in order to share her experience of studying during the coronavirus outbreak. The following paragraphs contain a translation of this art project.
The experience of my quarantine has been both good and sad. It’s been good because I understand more than ever before and enjoy my teacher’s lessons, messages, and videos. It’s also been sad because I don’t have a cellphone or internet.
To keep studying, I have to leave home and go to the house of one of my mother’s friends. She cares about me and lets me do my homework there. I’m happy because I’m doing well in my studies.
We’re happy that Darlyn has stayed on track with her studies. She’s a talented and determined young lady, and we know these qualities will take her far in life.
