I Want to be a Doctor

Although 10-year-old Sharon has only studied at Agua Viva for two years, she feels like she’s been here her entire life because of her love for the school. Among her favorite subjects are mathematics and writing, and she especially enjoys outside activities like playing with her friends at recess.

Sharon has big dreams for the future. When she grows up, she aspires to be a physician because of her desire to help people. “I love watching shows where doctors do good things for others, and I’d like to do that for my fellow Guatemalans,” she said with a smile.

Because teachers at Agua Viva spend so much time investing in students, Sharon has no doubt that she’s receiving the tools she needs to achieve educational success, both now and the future.
