Celebrating the Impact of Your Service

This year we witnessed God work through the summer missionaries who visited us. Every person who invested time and resources to join us at Agua Viva made a difference in the lives of our students, teachers, and community. We want to thank you and celebrate some of the achievements made possible by your generosity and love for this ministry.

Thanks to your support, we were able to complete two of our largest projects: the renovation of the elementary classrooms and the expansion of our library. The classrooms for students in the first through the sixth grades now have fresh paint, restored desks, multimedia televisions, and restored whiteboards. These improvements have transformed the learning environments into a more motivating space for our students.

Additionally, our library now has a wider selection of books and a better organization system, with new shelves that make it easier for students to choose their next literary adventures. We improved other areas of our campus as well, such as the gym bathrooms, the store, and the storage room, which all have new paint and creative signage. Each renovation has significantly enhanced our facilities, making Agua Viva a more welcoming and functional place.

Visits to our staff members’ homes by our summer missions teams also brought encouragement to those who work daily to accomplish God’s purpose for our community. Furthermore, art projects, crafts, and English activities allowed our students to make new friends and to develop important skills that contribute to their growth. The worship times around the campfires were inspiring, encouraging us to be more intentional in our daily devotions and prayers.

In short, your presence was a great blessing to us. We learned from the youngest team members to have a heart that marvels in Jesus’ love and shares it with others, adolescents who dedicated their summer vacation to serve Christ, and the adults, who, through their stories and examples, encouraged us not to grow weary as we walk with Christ.
